(Reuters) -British regulator Ofwat on Tuesday confirmed an 86-million-pound ($116.76 million) penalty against Anglian Water and South West Water over the companies' failure to maintain their sewage works and networks.

Anglian Water and its shareholders will fund a total enforcement package of 62.8 million pounds, and South West Water will fund an enforcement package of 24 million pounds, Ofwat said.
