Greece Opposition Files Censure Motion After Train Crash

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's main opposition will submit a censure motion against the centre-right government following mass protests over a 2023 deadly train crash last week, its leader said on Wednesday.

The motion which will be submitted by the Socialist PASOK party is backed by other opposition parties. They say that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' government has lost its popular mandate and accuse it of failing to assume responsibility over the train crash and fix safety gaps that helped cause the country's worst rail disaster.
