September 15 (Reuters) -Italy posted a trade surplus with the rest of the world of 7.908 billion euros ($9.28 billion) in July, compared with a surplus of 6.817 billion euros in the same month of 2024, data showed on Monday.
Year-on-Year Export and Import Changes
Exports rose 7.3% year-on-year, while imports increased 6.1%, national statistics office ISTAT reported.
Trade Surplus with EU Countries
With European Union countries, Italy registered a July trade surplus of 1.917 billion euros, compared with a surplus of 716 million euros in 2024.
Exports to EU nations in July were up 4.8% year-on-year, compared to a rise of 0.8% in imports.
