AMMAN (Reuters) - Jordan's King Abdullah told Syria's interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa after a meeting in Amman on Wednesday he condemned Israeli attacks on Syria, a palace statement said.

The two neighbours agreed that coordination was crucial for border security and curbing arms and rampant drug smuggling that Jordan struggled to contain along its border during former Syrian President Bashar Assad's rule, the palace added.
