ZURICH (Reuters) - A Swiss International Air Lines flight bound for Zurich from Bucharest made an emergency landing in the Austrian city of Graz because of engine problems and smoke in the cabin and cockpit, the carrier said.

The Airbus A220-300 aircraft involved in Monday's incident was carrying 74 passengers and five crew. All passengers were evacuated, Swiss said in a statement.

Twelve passengers on flight LX1885 received medical attention and one of the cabin crew was taken to hospital by helicopter, but their condition remains unclear.

The other four crew were also under medical care, Swiss added.

A flight is set to leave Graz on Tuesday morning carrying passengers to Zurich.
