LONDON/PARIS (Reuters) -British Airways owner IAG plans to place an order for around 30 long-haul jets from Airbus as part of a wide-body order split between the European planemaker and its U.S. rival Boeing, industry sources said on Thursday.

The order, which includes A330neo and A350 models, is expected to be announced with the airline group's earnings on Friday, the sources added.

Airbus declined comment and IAG was not immediately available for comment.
