Russia Considers Tax Reductions for Gazprom Funded by Other Producers

MOSCOW (Reuters) -The Russian government has been discussing possible tax cuts for energy giant Gazprom that would be paid for by raising the tax burden on other gas producers, the Interfax news agency reported on Wednesday, confirming a Reuters report.

Interfax cited Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov as saying such discussions had taken place, but that no decision had yet been taken.
