MOSCOW (Reuters) - Three people were injured in a Ukrainian missile attack in the town of Rylsk in Russia's Kursk region on Sunday, state news agency TASS reported, citing regional governor Alexander Khinshtein.

The missile strike hit a hotel building, Khinshtein said, adding that two people with shrapnel wounds were taken to hospital.

"Two men have serious shrapnel wounds to the head and arms, as well as fractures - they are in serious condition. Another woman received shrapnel wounds to her forearm and thigh - her life is not threatened," TASS quoted Khinshtein as saying.

Rescuers and ambulance doctors continue to work at the site of the missile attack, Khinshtein said.
