BERLIN (Reuters) -Uniper said on Wednesday it would sell its 18.26% shareholding stake in AS Latvijas Gaze to Energy Investments SIA, as the German utility fulfills one of the conditions of a government bailout it received in 2022.

When Germany rescued Uniper in the wake of Europe's energy crisis, the European Commission gave its consent under the condition that Uniper sell a number of assets, including stakes in Russia's Unipro and Latvia's Latvijas Gaze.
