(Reuters) -Kosovo's acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said on Friday that the country will abolish its 10% customs tariff on goods imported from the United States.
"From now on, all products originating from the United States will have a 0% tariff when they enter our country. Kosovo welcomes American products to its market and we strongly believe that this will affect the growth of trade exchange and increased investments," Kurti said during a government session.
In 2024, Kosovo exported goods worth 39 million euros ($44.46 million) to the U.S. while importing products valued at 106 million euros.
