ARM used by Europe’s largest infrastructure project, the largest US defense project, and half of the world’s top 10 Aerospace and Defense organizations

Maidenhead, UK – Active Risk announced today that it has expanded its global customer base and become an integral part of some of the world’s most important energy, infrastructure and defense capital projects. This increased adoption of its award-winning Active Risk Manager (ARM) software further proves Active Risk’s belief in the strategic value of risk management, beyond satisfying regulatory and compliance requirements (GRC).

Active Risk’s highlights from the last 12 months include:

Global growth – Active Risk secured additional customer relationships in traditional territories such as the United States and Europe, as well as in growing markets including China, Mongolia, Malaysia, South America, Australia and the Middle East.

• Adoption by globally visible infrastructure projects – ARM’s customer community now includes Crossrail, Europe’s largest infrastructure project, and the Kuala Lumpur Mass Rapid Transit System, which is one of the Top 30 major infrastructure projects in the world, among many others. This builds on the success of the 2012 London Olympics and Active Risk’s relationships with industry leaders including Network Rail, Bechtel and Skanksa.

• Expanded relationships in the Defense industry – ARM has been adopted by 50% of the Top 10 Aerospace & Defense organizations worldwide and is being used to manage risk on the development of the F-35 fighter, the largest US defense project.

Loren Padelford, Executive Vice President and General Manager at Active Risk said, “We are extremely proud of our customers’ successes. Our commitment to make risk management simple, valuable and personal was embodied in the release of ARM 6 in November, which brought additional functionality, new modules and apps to market. High profile capital projects cannot afford to leave risk management to chance. The project managers and risk professionals who use ARM know that it can meet the complex needs of their projects, putting valuable data at their fingertips to help them achieve their goals every day.”
