Aviate Global, the institutional equity brokerage, has strengthened its London research team with the appointment of Ameet Patel as Senior Equity Analyst. He joins from Rosenbridge LLP, where he was Managing Partner.

Ameet will support clients across AviateGlobal’s core markets – London, New York, Hong Kong and Sydney. He said, “Aviate Global stood out as a rarity amongst the typical sell-side firms. They focus all of their efforts on adding value to client processes and investment processes. I’m delighted to have the opportunity join this high-calibre team.”

Paul Moran, AviateGlobal’s Head of Research, commented, “Ameet’s background, skills and experience are an ideal match for the Aviate Global model. He adds substantially to our ability to identify and develop stock ideas that generate alpha for our clients.”

Ameet began his career as a pensions and investment consultant to UK corporates. He joined Lehman Brothers in 2001 as a sell-side equity analyst where he spent five years covering European stocks in a range of sectors, including transport & business services and telecoms. He moved to the buy-side in 2006, managing and advising on investments for institutions and large family offices, with an emphasis on hedge funds, portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management. He has an MSc in Finance from London Business School and is a CFA charter holder.
