Salute the Armed Forces is the Recipient of the 2016 Nonprofit Service Award from The Loop Marketing Inc
Chicago based internet marketing firm The Loop Marketing has announced that the recipient of their 2016 Nonprofit Service Award will go to Salute The Armed Forces, an organization dedicated to helping veterans of the Armed Forces return to civilian life with the tools that are needed to be successful.
Salute the Armed Forces began in 2008 as a grass roots organization of “veterans helping veterans.” They are a registered 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit committed to serving veterans, and rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to sponsor their many innovative veterans support programs.
As recipient of the 2016 Nonprofit Service Award, Salute the Armed Forces will be given pro bono professional web design and online marketing support from The Loop Marketing Inc throughout the year. This support will help launch Veterans University, a program offering veterans help with employment, finances, housing, records, and wellness benefits at no cost to them.
“A new web presence would help our organization get the word out to more veterans that we can help them find careers, not just a job. It would also allow us to allocate the resources we would use to develop this website to helping more veterans,” says Ed LeTourneau, Executive Director of Salute the Armed Forces. “A new web presence would also allow us to attract more veterans to our website and make it easier for them to find the necessary information they need.”
Past recipients of pro bono web design and online marketing services from The Loop Marketing Inc include The Fisher Foundation for Better Hearing, which provides free hearing aids to those in need, and The Fig Factor, which provides mentoring and support for young Latina women.
The Loop Marketing is a Chicago online marketing company serving the small to medium sized business market in the Chicago area as well as across the nation. Their services include website design, search engine optimization, paid search management, email marketing, and social media strategy.
