CitNOW’s innovative video technology has earned the company the honour of being recognised as Partner of the Year by LookersPlc in its annual awards evening.

The unique CitNOW platform, which enables dealership or workshop staff to to record and send personalised customer videos to customers’ phones, tablets or desktop computers via wifi, has been in use since January 2016.

On receipt of a video of their prospective purchase at the dealership, Lookers customers have gained significant information about the specific cars that they are most interested in prior to arriving at the dealership for a test drive.

Video is also of increasing relevance for building trust later in the customer lifecycle, capturing details of required maintenance work and sharing these with the customer for a more transparent approach.

CitNOW was shortlisted for the award alongside other key partners to the Lookers group, including Auto Trader UK, Shell, iVendi, Secure Group, GardX International Ltd, CCS Garage Equipment, Santander, Ford Credit and Martec Europe Limited.

Lookers has been guided through the adoption and implementation of video by their key account manager Paul Jordan. As the volume of videos produced by the business continues to grow, they have also taken advantage of the comprehensive on-site training and ongoing user support from the CitNOW Academy.

Andy Bruce, CEO at Lookers Plc, commented: “Our awards reflect industry leading excellence across our business, voted on by a judging panel consisting of our Operations, HR, Commerce, Marketing & PR and After sales leadership team and senior executives from Lookers Plc. Our board of Directors is deeply engaged with these awards and the values they represent, and we are delighted to recognise the contribution made by CitNOW in the past year.”

Accepting the award on behalf of the CitNOW team, CEO Alistair Horsburgh added: “CitNOW has convinced the judging panel based on three key criteria: commitment, proven business results and engagement.

“It is extremely rewarding to know that CitNOW has become an integral part of Lookers’ customer-facing solution for both sales and after sales. Lookers has embraced the technology and worked with us to ensure their staff produce consistently high quality video and high levels of customer satisfaction.”

Paul Jordan, Lookers key account manager at CitNOW said: “Lookers has shown what is achievable by fully engaging sales teams with the CitNOW platform and maximising the use and quality control to the highest standards. The current score of the ‘rate this video’ rate at Lookers is an impressive 4.7 out of 5.0.”

CitNOW is expanding both in the UK and globally. In 2016, it was named in the top 20 of the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100. Earlier in 2017, CitNOW was ranked at 176 in the FT’s 1,000 Fastest Growing Companies, putting it in the top 20% of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe.
