Delphix, the market leader in Data as a Service announced that Gartner, Inc. positioned Delphix in the leaders quadrant of the 16 June 2015 “Magic Quadrant for structured data archiving and application retirement.” 1Gartner defines storage optimisation of structured data archiving as a means to reduce the volume of data in production instances and the requirement to maintain seamless data access. Gartner notes that the benefits of using this technology include reduced capital expenditures (capex) and operating expenditures (opex), as well as improved information governance and lower risk of regulatory compliance violations, and access to secondary data for reporting and analysis.
