Overview of the Eni-Petronas Gas Project
LONDON (Reuters) -Italian oil major Eni is aiming to get its gas joint venture with Malaysia's Petronas up and running some time next year, group COO Guido Brusco said on Monday.
Project Timeline and Goals
The firms announced they were pressing ahead with the project, to develop gas assets in Malaysia and Indonesia, earlier this year, though the timeline for launch was not clear, with Petronas saying it could take 1 to 2 years pending regulatory approval.
Production Capacity and Expansion Plans
The project will produce 300,000 barrels per day of oil equivalent (boe), with plans to grow to 500,000 boe, Brusco said at an industry conference in London.
