OSLO, March 18 (Reuters) - Equinor and its partners Vaar Energi and Petoro have made an oil discovery in the Norwegian part of the Arctic Barents Sea, some 16 km (10 miles) from the Johan Castberg field, Norway's Offshore Directorate said on Wednesday.
Estimated Oil Reserves
The discovery was estimated to contain between 14 million and 24 million barrels of oil, the agency said.
