PARIS, Feb 18 (Reuters) - France's anti-trust watchdog raided Paris's largest taxi operator G7 on Tuesday as part on investigation opened after a complaint by ride-hailing company Uber Technologies, French radio station France Inter reported on Wednesday.

Autorite de la Concurrence, as the watchdog is known, said in a statement it carried "unannounced inspections to visit and seize documents" at an unidentified company in the industry of the transportation of people suspected of anti-competitive practices.

A spokesperson for G7 did not immediately respond to a request for comment. 

Uber has indeed filed a complaint with Autorite de la Concurrence for anti-competitive practices carried out by G7, a spokesperson told Reuters.
