PARIS, April 3 (Reuters) - French financial prosecutors have dropped an investigation of Paris 2024 Olympics chief Tony Estanguet regarding his salary, the prosecutor's department said on Friday.
Findings of the Prosecutor's Department
It said the investigation, which looked into Estanguet's salary in his role as president of the 2024 Olympics organising committee, had found no case of criminal wrongdoing.
Estanguet's Response
Estanguet, a three-time Olympic canoeing champion before taking charge of the Paris 2024 organising committee, had said he was not involved in the decision on his salary.
