Konnect2Africa in partnership with the International Women’s Think Tank, WorldWideWomen and Mums in Tech is pleased to present the first in a series of think tank conferences ‘GENIAE (Gender Equality in a New Inclusive African Economy)’scheduled for April 18-19, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.

GENIAE 2018 will address the gender gap in technology, create a platform for collaborations and provide opportunities that empower women in their lives and support solutions for inclusive economic growth.

GENIAE will kick off Day 1 with an assessment of the current gender gap in Africa, before exploring the critical role technology and private equity investment have in bridging that gap. It will also provide a platform for discussing practical strategies to tackle gender equality and potential opportunities for cross-bordercollaboration.

Day 2 will start by exploring the gender gap in the African aeronautics economy and culminate on the subject of inclusiveness; how we can redefine the metrics for measuring economic success, and provide a platform to create a shared, binding mission for inclusive growth that will be tracked over subsequent GENIAE conferences.
