Go Global Retail Withdraws Offer for French Connection Group

(Reuters) – Go Global Retail LLC said on Monday it does not plan to make an offer for the fashion brand French Connection Group after the UK takeover panel asked the company earlier this month to make a firm offer or walk away.

London-listed French Connection agreed to sell itself in September for 29 million pounds ($39.88 million) after years of losses that were only made worse by the pandemic.
