@GXS iPad App Aggregates B2B Updates for Retail, Manufacturing and Financial Services Sectors

February 7, 2013— GXS, a leading provider of B2B integration services, today announced the release of its new iPad app @GXS. The app collects industry-specific B2B news across social media channels and original content from GXS thought leaders and then aggregates them by category into an easy-to-use display. @GXS is available for the iPad through the Apple App Store.

With the growing popularity of social media, it is difficult to identify valuable, industry news. There is an overwhelming amount of information available online, making it challenging and time-consuming to find relevant and interesting news articles. @GXS shows relevant articles from across various industries including the retail, consumer products, automotive, high tech, manufacturing and financial services sectors. In addition, a B2B section allows users to browse more general content relating to technology segments such as B2B integration, EDI, Supply Chain, Cloud Computing and SaaS.

“This new mobile application helps today’s business and IT professionals easily cut through the social media clutter to identify the latest industry news relevant to B2B integration, supply chain and the financial markets,” said Steve Keifer, vice president of marketing at GXS. “We believe users will find this magazine-style layout on a tablet device an attractive alternative to sorting through e-mails, microblogs and RSS feeds for relevant information.”
