In 2012, Bank ZENIT participated in origination of sixteen bond placements for eleven issuers with a total nominal value of 30 billion rubles ($1 billion).

In particular, the issuers that used the Bank’s services included: NLMK, CREDIT EUROPE BANK, LOKO-Bank, Metallinvestbank, MOSCOW CREDIT BANK, SMP Bank, Banca Intesa and others.

In addition, during last year, Bank ZENIT placed four successful issues of its own bonds to a total of sixteen billion rubles, also acting as an arranger for these.

The Cbonds ranking of market bond issues originators for 2012 placed Bank ZENIT in eleventh place among the major investment banks.

“In 2012, the market for primary bond offerings continued to grow”, noted Kirill Kopelovich, Head of the Bank ZENIT Investment Banking. “Despite fierce competition from the biggest Russian and western banks and companies, Bank ZENIT is steadily increasing the number of arranged placements and issuer partners. 2012 was no exception, having been our most successful year since the financial crisis. In 2013, we will endeavour to continue this positive trend.”
