LONDON (Reuters) -Ireland's retail sales fell by 0.5% in October from the previous month and were 2.1% higher than a year earlier, provisional data showed on Friday.

Excluding motor trades, sales volumes slipped 0.1% on the month and rose 1.5% year-on-year, the Central Statistics Office said.
