Leading referral service Key Partnerships is continuing to recruit in response to growing demand for adviser support as the equity release market hits new record highs.

Gillian Roberts has been appointed as a Business Development Manager in the Midlands to provide further support and help for advisers across the region.

She has more than nine years’ experience managing and developing account relationships in the adviser market and extensive knowledge of the financial services industry during a career which includes advising clients directly.

The pace of expansion across the equity release hit new records last year with more than £3 billion of lending and growth in plan sales of more than 40%. The East and West Midlands were among the top-performing regions.

Jason Ruse, Head of Key Partnerships, said: “The record pace of growth in demand across the equity release market underlines the need for more specialist support for advisers and Gillian brings a wealth of experience to our expanding team.”

Key Partnerships is a B2B referral service providing a whole of market equity release solution for introducers and their clients, through parent company Key Retirement; leading specialist provider of financial solutions to the over 55’s. Over 7,000 introducers encompassing IFAs, mortgage brokers, accountants, solicitors and estate agents are registered to refer business to Key Partnerships. In return for a referral, intermediaries earned on average £1,341 in 2017 on completion of their client’s loan.
