Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance has strengthened its support for businesses in South Wales with the appointment of a new regional manager.
Helena Warne is now part of the bank’s Global Transaction Banking team after three years as a business development manager in Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham, supporting customers with property and business loans.

Her new role sees her working with businesses with a turnover of up to £10 million, and specialising in invoice finance, a funding option which can help firms to access working capital tied up in unpaid invoices.

Helena’s first language is Welsh and she has worked at Lloyds Banking Group for the past 15 years, relocating back to her home county of Pembrokeshire to take up the new role.

Working closely with the bank’s SME relationship managers, she hopes to raise the awareness of invoice finance with current and prospective customers who may be able to benefit from a more flexible facility rather than an overdraft, which is repayable on demand and has a fixed limit.
Helena said “Invoice finance is growing increasingly popular among companies that recognise that it’s a cost-effective means of releasing cash from unpaid bills.

“At Lloyds Bank, we are committed to delivering working capital solutions that support UK firms and I’m keen to help Welsh businesses prosper.”
