  • New customer-focussed, seven-day-a-week bank to open in Clapham High Street
  • New store will create 25 jobs for local community

Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, is set to open a brand-new store on Clapham High Street later this year. The award-winning bank prides itself on providing customers with an amazing banking experience and is renowned for its superior levels of service and convenience.

Following the opening of its Clapham Junction store last October, the bank has witnessed huge demand for its services, and in response will be opening its second store in the area.

Unlike any other bank, Metro Bank provides instant account opening, along with on-the-spot card printing. With no appointment necessary, Clapham residents can ‘walk out working’ with a fully functioning account in a matter of minutes, rather than weeks. What’s more, the store will also have over 1,200 safe deposit boxes for customers to keep their valuables, as well as free coin counting facilities for customers and non-customers alike.

Iain Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of Retail Banking at Metro Bank commented: “We just can’t get enough of Clapham! As a fast developing town, Clapham is a fantastic community to be part of and we’re delighted to have found another great location to serve it from. We look forward to welcoming even more local Clapham residents and businesses to the Banking Revolution.”

The bank sources prime locations for its stores and is proud to make an investment in Clapham, securing a prominent location at: 65 – 67 Clapham High Street, SW4 7TG.

All stores are open at the most convenient time for local residents and businesses from 8am to 8pm Monday to Fridays, 8am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays and bank holidays, 362 days a year.
