Robert is an asset manager, working direct with private clients in Independence Wealth Management Ltd. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and CISI Fellow. Robert started his City career working for a Eurobond issuing house, taking entry examinations to the London Stock Exchange.

He has helped manage individual portfolios for private clients through, he says “at least three major crashes”. A Chartered Banker and Chartered Tax Adviser, Robert advocates an education-led approach, and he has just completed his book “Self Directed Wealth”.

Of his appointment as CISI branch President, Robert said:

“I am truly honoured to have been appointed President of the CISI West Country branch.  I would like to thank outgoing President, Stephen Roach Chartered FCSI for his committee leadership, enthusiasm and dedication to developing and expanding our local membership.

“I am looking forward to building on Stephen’s great work and helping to grow the CISI membership. We have some excellent events coming up, including 9 November when Steve Lennon of Parmenion will be leading a discussion on whether our current capitalist system is ethical.”
