Paragon Bank has announced that Jonathan Taylor recently joined the bank as senior vice president and client development officer. In his position, Taylor is focused on developing new relationships with Commercial and Industrial (C&I) companies, and will assist businesses with custom-tailored banking solutions to help achieve their goals.

Taylor most recently served as Triangle area executive for NewBridge Bank. For 18 years, he has provided banking institutions with relationship development experience in commercial banking, commercial real estate and title insurance industries in the greater Triangle market. In 2007, Taylor was a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Leadership Award in recognition of his professional and community service.

Active in his community, Taylor enjoys participating in the Cary MacGregor Rotary Club, is a board member at Just Right Academy in Chapel Hill, and is a finance committee member at Apex United Methodist Church. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in finance from Appalachian State University, where he currently serves on the advisory board of the institution’s Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance. An Eagle Scout and supporter of the local Boy Scouts of America, Taylor is a native of Statesville, North Carolina and presently resides in Cary, North Carolina with his wife, Jennifer.
