Synechron, Inc, the global financial services consulting and technology services provider, has today announced Peter Memon has joined the company as its new Head of Emerging Technology. Peter will contribute over 25 years of experience in financial services, investment banking, capital markets and emerging technology to help the company achieve its ambition to be the industry-leading Digital Technology Consulting firm as a key member of the leadership team. He is based in New York and will report to Synechron’s CEO, Faisal Husain.

Throughout his career, Peter has made a name for himself by working with the most advanced new technologies to solve tomorrow’s problems today. He has hands-on experience building front-office trading systems from his time at HSBC, was in charge of architectural development at Lehman Brothers, managed risk/trade/analytics data at Barclays, and most recently has been designing next generation technologies leading an elite R&D team at JP Morgan.

“As Synechron prepares for its next phase of global growth, Peter’s contributions will be instrumental in positioning Synechron as the leader in the industry with our existing and future stakeholders and as we continue to see where new emerging technologies can take our clients and our business,” said Faisal Husain, Co-founder and CEO of Synechron.

“The financial services industry has many challenges, and they won’t be solved by using yesterday’s technologies. Today’s problems will be solved by understanding the business context and applying emerging technologies to invent tomorrow’s solutions. My passion is solving complex problems, and I’m looking forward to bringing that energy to Synechron,” said Peter Memon.
