WARSAW, March 12 (Reuters) - A drone found at a mine in western Poland is most likely one of the Russian military drones that entered Polish airspace in September, the state news agency PAP reported on Thursday, citing sources close to the defence ministry.

NATO member Poland has been on high alert for incursions since more than 20 Russian drones entered its airspace on the night of September 9-10.
Some remains have been found in eastern Poland, but never before in the west.
Discovery of the Drone in Galczyce
Police Response and Initial Assessment
Police said on X they had been alerted to an uncrewed aerial vehicle found in Galczyce, about 170 km west of Warsaw, on the premises of a lignite mine.
Comments from Law Enforcement
"It doesn't look like a civilian drone, but there's no information about the model," police spokesperson Maciej Swiecichowski said from the western city of Poznan.
Identification and Possible Origin
State broadcaster TVP Info cited sources as saying it was a Gerbera military drone like the ones that entered Poland's airspace in September.
