PwC Legal has promoted seven new partners and directors to its leadership team with effect from 1 July 2016.

Partner promotions include Kate Elsdon who leads the Entity Governance & Compliance practice and Oliver Reece who leads the Pensions practice.  Both these practices have seen significant investment over the last year with the hire of Susan Fadil from TMF, Fraser Sparks from Stephenson Harwood and David Farmer from DLA Piper.

The five director promotes include Sapna Patel, Lindsay Barras and Andrea Als in the Immigration practice, Cynthia Chan in International Business Reorganisations and Annalie Croney in the Banking & Finance team.  The immigration practice  is one of the firm’s key businesses and has embarked on a major global expansion drive recently recruiting Katrina Cooper from Faegre Baker Daniels.

The corporate practice has also seen significant investment with the hire of Oliver Williams from DLA Piper, Peter Workman from King & Wood Mallesons and Thomas Colmer from Osborne Clarke in M&A, John Amberton from Baker & McKenzie in the International Business Reorganisations practice and most recently Laetitia Costa from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy who will lead the Banking & Finance team.
