Metro Bank, the revolution in British banking, is further investing in South West London, with the unveiling of its brand new Clapham High Street store on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 December. To celebrate, the community is invited to a two-day welcome party.

Celebrations are kicking off from 8am on Friday and the community is in for a treat, with a line-up including sassy stilt walkers, free face painting and manicures, and a DJ ready to play all your favourite tunes. Mark your diaries and come in to meet Store Manager, Neet Choda and Local Director, Jimmy Munoz at 65 – 67 Clapham High Street, SW4 7TG.

Craig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank commented: “Just over a year ago, we brought the banking revolution to Clapham Junction, and after receiving such a warm welcome from the local community, we’re opening a second store on Clapham High Street.

“We can’t wait to support local residents and businesses, who will now benefit from having two prime locations on their doorstep, and stores that are open when they need it, with on-the-spot card printing and free coin counting services for customers and non-customers alike. Most importantly they’ll now have a bank that’s there for them.”

The new store will act as a real hub for the local community, as businesses will be able to use in-store meeting rooms for free and residents will enjoy hundreds of networking and charity events hosted in their store. Last year the bank held over 2,000 community and in-store events, such as local fairs, free pumpkin decorating at Halloween, Christmas festivities and the bank’s financial education programme for children, Money Zone.
