Skrill, a Paysafe company and a global leader in digital wallets and mobile payments, has signed a sponsorship deal with F5WC, the world’s largest 5-a-side football tournament.
Over 10,000 5-a-side teams from more than 30 countries compete in the F5WC world cup. 350 qualifying events will culminate in a grand final in Shanghai, China in September 2018.
As part of the sponsorship, Skrill’s logo will feature on team shirts and pitch-side throughout the stages of the competition. Skrill is also the official payment partner for the global tournament, used for team fees and the merchandise website.
Founded in 2013, F5WC is an annual global tournament for all amateur players as the only global competition of its kind.
