FIGUERUELAS (Reuters) -CATL and Stellantis' joint venture is yet to decide how many workers will come from China to construct its battery plant in Spain, the JV's chief executive told reporters on Wednesday, after reports that the firm would bring up to 2,000.

"We are just in the phase to select our subcontractors. We are not yet able to say the firm number," Wu said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the battery plant in Aragon, adding the joint venture was "very open" to hiring locals.
