The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Conference at the Data Protection World Forum will focus on the issues that are at the top of the agenda for compliance professionals from financial institutions.

2018 has been a landmark year of regulatory change, with organisations having to address major new regulations, such as GDPR and MiFID II.

Taking place 6 months after the enforcement date of GDPR and 10 months after the implementation of MiFID II the GRC Conference at Data Protection World Forum will examine the most pressing regulatory changes and risks facing the financial services industry.

Of course, in addition to these new regulations we also have Brexit and the uncertainties around future arrangements between the UK and EU.

Data Protection World Forum will take place one month after the key EU summit on 18 October where both sides hope to agree an outline of future relations.

2018 will have been a big year for financial services, whether it’s preparing for regulation or adapting to political/economic change or deciding what technologies and tactics can best meet these challenges.

The Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Conference is perfectly timed to address these issues and provide a forum for learning, knowledge sharing and networking.
