LONDON, April 30 (Reuters) - British police said on Thursday that the man suspected of being involved in the stabbing of two Jewish men in north London on Wednesday was known to the government's counter-radicalisation Prevent programme.

The 45-year-old British national, who was born in Somalia, was subject to a Prevent referral in 2020, which was closed in the same year, the police statement said.
