Members of leading female entrepreneur network, SheWorx, have taken part in a roundtable discussion hosted by London law firm, Joelson.
The latest SheWorx Breakfast event at the firm’s offices in Portland Place featured a talk from Renée Elliott the founder of Planet Organic.
Renée, the pioneer behind the UK’s first organic supermarket launched in 1995, looked at how businesses can sustain growth, the importance of attracting the right funding and the introduction of new people to a business.
Nearly 20 female entrepreneurs attended the event to hear from Renée and also connect with peers in their various fields.
Joelson is a long-time sponsor of SheWorx and last year supported the international SheWorx 100 Summit.
Philippa Sturt, Partner at Joelson, is a key supporter of female entrepreneurs and the firm’s main contact with the SheWorx community.
She said: “We were delighted to sponsor, host and take part in the latest SheWorx roundtable event. Renée’s talk and feedback were very enlightening and those who joined us certainly took something useful away from the event.
