March 17 (Reuters) - British homebuilder Vistry Group on Tuesday appointed Rob Woodward as its non-executive chair, effective May 13, as the search for a chief executive continues.

Woodward, who was CEO at real estate firm STV Group for a decade till 2017, will replace outgoing chair and CEO Greg Fitzgerald, who is set to retire after the company's annual general meeting in May.
