EU and US Must Address Trade Tensions, Says EU Trade Chief

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Union and the United States have a lot of work to do before they can ease trade tensions, EU trade chief Maros Sefcovic said on Friday after talks with his American counterparts.

"Important exchange with U.S. Secretary Howard Lutnick and ambassador Jamieson Greer - a key part of better understanding each other," Sefcovic said in a post on X.

"There's a lot of work ahead, but let's stay focused and explore the best ways to move forward in the right direction."
