NFT Vision Hack aims to support creatives and developers who are pushing  boundaries within the global NFT space  

17 August 2021: An online hackathon focused on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is offering more than $70,000 worth of prizes and grants to participants including software engineers, graphic designers, NFT creators, game developers and digital artists. The free to enter NFT Vision Hack, which will close for submissions on 30th August, is organised by Indorse, Nifty Labs Gibraltar and Coinsilium

The use of NFTs has exploded in the past year, with the The market for non-fungible tokens “surged to new highs in the second quarter, with $2.5 billion in sales so far this year, up from just $13.7 million in the first half of 2020”.1 Tweets, NBA highlight videos and digital art are among the NFTs being sold for six and seven figure sums. Capitalising on this groundswell of interest, the hackathon aim to push the boundaries of what is considered possible in the world of NFTs, with entrants choosing between four tracks: building on the open source Rarible Protocol, focusing on NFT payment solutions, creating a scalable NFT art project, or developing innovative solutions that combine gaming and NFTs. 

In addition to the monetary rewards, the best projects will also have the opportunity to partner, and secure grant programs, with some of the sponsors, which include Rarible, IPFS, Filecoin, Circle, and HM Government of Gibraltar amongst others. Sponsors have also conducted a series of workshops to provide context and knowledge specific to each challenge.
